Run!

If you've ever walked from Tregantle to Penlee you will possibly know that there is a field with horses, just after the cottages by Polhawn.  Steve, Sam and myself were walking towards the field, some years back now and when we got to the gate there were horses blocking our way through to the other side of the field.  After about 10 minutes of shooing and tapping the gate with our sticks we managed to persuade them that they were in the way and to move away.  Great, now we could move on, which we did.  As we walked through the field, Sam in front, me in the middle and Steve taking up the rear, we became aware that we were being followed, or pursued should I say. The horses had taken it  unto themselves to follow us.  The trouble is, the faster we went, the faster they went, and it all became a little hurried!  The lead horse was trying to eat Steve's rucksack and Sam, safe in the lead, was walking backwards laughing. It must have been quite a sight to see as we hurried through to the other gate and to safety.
